About Me

There is always the awkwardness of trying to talk about yourself. I don't want to sound arrogant, so I usually tell my story in terms of what has happened in my life rather than who I am. At the same time, I would not permit for what has happened to me to define me.

So, given my preface above, I would say that I am a complicated man. A man who is emotionally exhausting to be around because of my insecurities, as well as my constant analytical assessment of everyone around me.

I love Jesus and seek to serve him with my life. I don't think I'm very good at it but I am learning what it is to love the Lord and love my neighbor. The best part of me is him. St. Francis said that a man is only what God thinks of him and nothing more. So whatever God thinks, that is what I am.

My wife and I were married on January 4th, 2008. She is my best friend. She has been my greatest encouragement. Though "ineffable" is usually a characteristic used to describe only God, it would seem that words escape me whenever I try to articulate how important she is to me, and the depths of my love for her.

I graduated from Lancaster Bible College in December of 2008, and am currently a full-time student at Biblical Seminary where I hope to receive my Masters of Divinity in the summer of 2012.

Currently, I am employed full time at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lancaster County as a "Match Support Specialist" - aka - a Caseworker.
